Really well polished game, with great feel! Great job!
Love the game. The gameplay is addictive and the polish is amazing. I made a very similar game last year. Amazing work, love the visuals and shader effects. I would recommend adding power ups for added gameplay depth. Congrats!
This one was a trip and a half, nice polish and love the aesthetics!
I love it when a single input affects more mechanics, it was a great idea to combine moving and shooting. The music ending too soon is a bummer. The special ability feels great when it fills the whole screen with lasers. I would love if it made you survive more, though – because not having enough firepower is rarely the problem (unlike dying), also just for an extra feeling of power! :D
Aesthetically fantastic, simple but effective gameplay, nice to spend some time but the fact that does not seem to ramp up in difficulty makes it a bit boring and very easy (but I'm an avid player of touhou and vertical shooters, maybe it's just me)
Yeah the difficulty ramp and extra enemies had to be cut, I ended up spending like 5-8 hours fixing issues with reset & input 😭 that's definitely planned for a post-jam version, though!
Thanks for playing 😁
I was glued, well balanced for a gamejam game. A game I would wishlist and look how the development goes. Good job!
Looks very well polished for such a short jam!
It would be cool if you added more enemies or patterns / increased the difficulty more over time.
Great work!! :D
The game feels really polished, and the graphics and sound are awesome. Well done !
Juicy, as always by you chief! Sadly the webgl version is a bit buggy with ui breaking and music not looping, but still, it was really fun. Really solid concept, and really solid execution. With some more content I could play this on my phone for days :)
Beautiful game! Kinda sad the music stopped after some time, but stuff like that happens in a jam game :D
yeah it's a real shame - turns out that Unity WebGL doesn't loop audio if you start it with PlayScheduled. The music is awesome, though, Dieck did a great job!
Love it! Awesome minimalistic graphics and great soundtrack (although the soundtrack stops sometime if you play long enough)! Wish there were some more enemy types or patterns but there is also only so much time in a gamejam :D
A pretty juicy take on 1-dimensional movement/shooting and Space Invaders-style formations. Echoing the awkwardness of having to rapidly tap left/right in order to shoot “straight”, however. More enemy shot patterns would have been nice, too.
Good stuff! Visually great, leaderboard system fleshed out really well, game is simple and effective. Ran into a bug where music would stop. Only complaint is the shooting bound only to left/right seems counterintuitive during play, I just wanna shoot normally!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I tried something different - it's probably going to stay that way given that it'll be a mobile game and there's nowhere else to add a button 😂 there might be something I can do to improve that, though. I don't really want to make it so it just continually shoots 🤔
Loved those bright visuals and smooth gameplay!
It’s definetly cool, smooth even on low-end with post-processing but missing details and gets bored because new mobs aren’t making and one of them unbalanced. But you have very good result at graphics
Visuals are beautiful, and the sounds are done really well. But it feels like the difficulty does not change at all.
yep, that'll be because I ran out of time for content 😭 I was fighting issues with input and resetting til about an hour before the deadline, so only two enemies made it in! I have a bunch of content planned for a post-jam version though.
