Welcome to our game jam dedicated the epic tool that is LMMS!

With a top prize of $50, submissions are open from Saturday 7th September 00:01 AM (GMT+1) and lasting for 2 days through to 11:59PM (GMT+1) Sunday 18th September.

As always, we have a few goals with this jam: (1) to have fun, (2) to showcase some amazing sonic creations, and (3) to allow the LMMS & composer communities to show off the amazing things possible with their tool.

This jam is hosted by:

Tooling.gg is a community led website bringing together all of the tools used for building games so people can find the right tool for the right job. We are driven by a passion for the amazing software that makes creating our worlds/stories/experiences possible, and the community that uses them.

A theme for this jam will be announced when the submission window goes live on Saturday 7th September @ 00:01.

1st Place: $50

2nd Place: $25

3rd Place: $10

+ BONUS $5 for a participant (chosen at random) outside the top 3 who submits a LMMS review.

Prizes will be paid via PayPal or Amazon Gift Card, and are per submission (i.e. one per team).

Who can Enter?

We welcome anyone from anywhere to participate in this Jam. You could be working alone, or part of a team.  You'll obviously need to have an itch.io account to join! We look forward to seeing your creations!

For your submissions, we are expecting a minimum of 3 minutes of audio content. This can be split into as many different tracks/compositions as you want.

In terms of rating criteria, there will be 4:

- Creativity & Originality

- Emotional Impact & Atmosphere

- Technical Excellent and Production Quality

- Interpretation of the theme

We want to honour a few rules, so we can all have fun as a community:

- Most importantly: the composition you submit MUST be put together using LMMS (https://lmms.io/)

- Your submission will only be eligible if you complete the review form.

- Compositions must show all necessary credits

- No paid audio assets allowed, all content  must be original.

- No NSFW content

- No limit to the number of team members.
