I love the art work in this game!  I had a bit of difficulty learning to play, but I think my first run of the game was bugged.  Nothing would click and drag and text from each customer would overlap.  However after a restart the game seemed to work as intended! I love the animation between customers.  I can't tell if I just didn't understand the game well enough, or if the time limit on beginning orders was too short, but it might be a good idea to start the first few orders with more time.  Or I'm projecting because I also have a merchant game with a difficulty curve issue. ;)  Nice work, would like to see this built upon!

Developer

thanks a lot and the first bug you encountered is a known one and we'll fix it post rating, we're also planning to update the game a bit and make it easier and more fun later!

Great art, feels a little clunky to change from page to page but I enjoyed trying to quickly set everything up, the timer per person was a really good idea. Great job I was playing it for longer than I intended lol

Developer

glad to hear

Really fun game. I like how eventually the jar just overflows. This is such a good game to play during idle/leisure times. A solid 5/5/5 from me

Developer

thanks dude!

It took me a bit to understand how to play. But other than that the game is good.
Well done!

The assets feel a bit weird, other than that its great!

I will agree with some of the other comments and say the game is a little hard to understand at first, although it does have pretty good design otherwise. Good submission!

Hi, nice concept, but was hard to understand the first request, maybe add a tutorial?

Developer

Sorry we didn’t have much time but we’ll add one post rating

Interesting and fun concept. I think a "submit order" button would be useful but other than that I had fun creating orders as NPC hehehe!
Nice work!😁

thx dud

Interesting concept! It's a bit easy to go on infinitely, but I feel it could be expanded upon quite nicely.

Developer

thanks!

Cool lil game! Maybe adding something like a quick submit button for the items would be cool, make it a lil less fumbly.
My first 3 customers died while I was figuring out how to play lol. Edit: Very impressive considering the art is home made!
Well done!

This game is really cool and with a simple but well made idea! I like how each customer buys a different sword and hability but I didnt really know which sword did each thing sometimes. The art is amazing and very worked and the game is well polished. I like how you implemented the mechanic. And when the zombies ate the customer I was really shocked I liked it a lot.

Developer

thank you!

Nice work. Please add more mechanics and make the game funnier. I like the zombies :)

Developer

Thanks a lot, and yeah we’ll update the game after the rating period

It was frustrating at first, but the concept and design kept me motivated and when I figured out how to play the game it became a lot of fun. Sadly there is no increase in difficulty, so it became predictable after a some time. Overall I had a good experience and the Sound and Art were also nice. I would recommend however to add some Hints on how to play on the Game Page.

Woohoo, a fellow shopkeeper game! I love seeing different interpretations of the theme. This one was super interesting and well executed! Great job.

Developer (1 edit)

thank you! make sure to rate.

For some reason Itch.io wouldn't let me go past the captcha, but it seems like it fixed itself; just rated! Great work again.

Developer

I can't grab objects, maybe I misunderstand the controls ?

Good job for the visuals and the sounds, I can tell for gameplay so sad

Developer(+1)

sorry can you restart the game and rate it

Submitted

Rated !

It works after restart it you were right.

The idea is very cool but sometimes it was hard to find what the customers wanted, maybe if weapons were more different it could help ?

Good game for a jam btw !!

Really nice, i liked the presentation a lot. Sadly the game didn't work well with a wide monitor and I couldn't adjust the window size, so the ui layout got broken, making it a bit unplayable.

Developer

Thank you! Apologies for the resolution issues, with time running short we decided to go for the standard 16:9 :)

Developer

sorry about that, can you rate the game btw

Submitted

Very nice! I just wish it would have more content

Developer

sorry we didn't have a lot of time

Nice job! the timer seems a little harsh at first, but once i got the hang of it it was ok. The art is great!

Good take on the idea, where you reverse role with a shopkeeper. Design of the swords and runes is very readable, I always understood which elements I should pick to satisfy customers' needs. It is a bit hard to understand what to do at first, but once you do it plays alright, so give this game a chance even if you are confused in the beginning.

Developer

thank you!
