Played this a while back, and while I didn't initially put this in this list, I have not stopped thinking about this game since I played it. It feels like an echo of my younger self, down to the messiness of it all. The more time passes, the more this game has cemented itself into one of my all time favorites.
Another fever dream of a game I'm obsessed with: Crab Edition
I'm actually so hyped that there's a second trilogy. I really connected to the first one, and going through it again through the eyes of the abuser is a lot but also cathartic to a degree.
This is a series of 3 short games (this is the first), and each one hits like a freight train. Definitely read the content warnings for these, but it's incredibly well done.
I could write to these forever
When I tell you this is the best transformative work I've seen, I'm not kidding I promise you. I went in blind and it was a wild ride
More weird games my beloved. The atmosphere and writing in this is incredible, and I love how each segment flows into each other. I spent so much time just wanting to peel away the layers this has
One of the coolest worlds I've ever experienced in an IF. Utterly obsessed with the world building and atmosphere
I know this is in Spanish and idk how many of the people looking at this know Spanish, but hear me out. Even if you don't, play it anyway.
The vibes are perfect, no notes. I also found the lore tidbits we got fascinating, and I enjoyed my time in this world a lot.
This has haunted me since I've played it. It also makes me want to play more games that act as memoirs
My first otome I ever played that essentially became my gateway into the genre. It's been over a decade, and my love for otomes is still strong. A nostalgic pick for sure, but it's also the other 10% of the reason I wanted to get into game development
Supergiant's best game to date, no notes. 90% of the reason I wanted to get into game development even if I didn't end up making cool top down action rpgs. The art, the sound track, the puzzle-esque battle system? Literally perfect in every way
Another game I played years ago that I still think about from time to time. The mourning of the past and the longing for what once was in your memories is just...really good
Horror yuri with great designs and a solid, gothic story
I have cried every time I've played this with someone. 10/10 TTRPG experience, I highly recommend
Another cozy game I like to go back to from time to time when I want to relax
I don't think there's anything I can say about this game that hasn't already been said lol NakedToaster my beloved tho
For when you just want a silly, feel-good game! It's super cozy and one I replay from time to time when I just need something to relax to!
I played this game years ago now, but it's stuck with me so thoroughly. I love everything about it, and if you like the themes in my game, you'll definitely vibe with this one
