Faced with the constant updating of education programs to align with the fast-paced and unpredictable job market, a high school student reveals a genuine need for assistance in developing a suitable career choice. Given the necessity for efficient guidance, multiple stakeholders come into play: families and close persons, peers, educational institutions, and career advisors. This study aims to develop career guidance for learners to empower them to interpret their environment and discover and control their resources. We conducted a survey involving seventy-five high school students to investigate the development of students' projects as they engage with two crucial institutions in their lives: the family and the school, in addition to various information sources provided by the students. Our subsequent focus is on how these elements intersect with individual characteristics. Employing a quantitative approach, we conducted structured interviews to understand the influence of various stakeholders on the students' project development. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained results underscore the paramount role of families in shaping the projects of two-thirds of the students in our sample while assigning limited influence on the educational institution and the school career guidance system. This study enabled us to uncover students' professional preferences and identify the various sources of information deemed reliable when making career choices.

This article aims to investigate students' perceptions of various components of their academic ecosystem. our study is interested in examining the preferred teaching models, competencies, and fields of study that higher education should develop and national/international mobility. A questionnaire survey was conducted using a quantitative approach to collect students' perceptions; 97 students from Hassan 2 University participated in the study. According to educational experts and career guidance, the market and global economic forces linke... more According to educational experts and career guidance, the market and global economic forces linked to a postmodern society have led to a crisis in career development models and practices. in such an uncertain changing context students face major challenges during their career development. The life design method was used in this study to increase student's engagement in their career development. Life Career Design is a constructivist and narrative model-based approach that is mainly advised to empower people and inspire them to participate in a process that has personal significance for them. Our career interventions consist of face-to-face interviews with 30 high school students. This study uses a qualitative method to offer in-depth details on this practice. The narratives of 30 participants were analyzed afterward using the content analysis technique by NVivo 11 software to better assess students' career development. The findings can help students improve their capacity to anticipate their career actions and design strategies appropriate for their goals and context. This study is a component of the efforts made by improving career interventions to better prepare future citizens for participation in a knowledge-based society.

The study is recommended to develop appropriate guiding interventions for career exploration. For this purpose, using a quantitative approach, the study at hand seeks to explain the impact of social context on academic career development. The questionnaire has an internal consistency of about 0.71 and consists of two parts. The first deals with the socio-demographic factor and the second, presented as Likert-type items, contains 17 variables, which are expected to affect students’ career and academic choices. A total of 285 high school students responded to the questionnaire. The study has found that family and teachers’ support, as well as study plans and educational goals, play an important role in students’ career choices.
