The research subjects were 167 students of class XI MAN 2 Jambi City in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is a descriptive study with data collection techniques through test instruments in the form of multiple choice questions, answer sheets, and answer keys. The data analysis technique used the Anates version 4.0.9 program to determine the reliability, level of difficulty, discriminatory power, distractor quality, and recap of item analysis. The results in this study indicate that the reliability value of the test items is 0.06 with very low criteria. The quality of the item tests needs to be analyzed details. This study aims to determine the quality of the MAN (Public Islamic School) Model Biological Olympiad questions in Jambi City. The subjects in this study were 10 graders of MAN Model Jambi City who attended the Biology Olympiad training. The data analysis technique used in this study was a program called States 4.0.9. The results in the study showed that for the validity of the items at the coefficient level of 5%, there were 13 valid questions and 27 invalid questions. Meanwhile, for the reliability of the questions, the value was 0.46 which was categorized as sufficient. Furthermore, for the difficulty level of the questions, they were 3 questions in the easy category, 16 questions in the medium category, and 21 questions in the difficult category. Then for the results of the distinguishing power of the questions, 7 questions were categorized as very good, 12 questions were categorized as good, 7 questions were categorized as poor, and 14 questions were categorized as very poor. Meanwhile, for the results of the analysis of the quality of distracting items, there were 4 questions with quality was categorized as very good and good, while the rest were classified as poor, poor, and very poor criteria, or those criteria need to be revised. The purpose of this study was to produce an E-Module on ecology and environmental change using a ... more The purpose of this study was to produce an E-Module on ecology and environmental change using a guided inquiry approach that is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model. The development phase of this model begins with the Preliminary research phase, the Development or prototyping phase, and the Assessment phase. The instruments used in this study were validity assessment sheets, practicality assessment sheets, and competency assessment sheets for knowledge, skills, attitudes, motivation, and science process skills. The results showed that the E-Module on ecology and environmental change using a guided inquiry approach based on the expert judgment was very valid with a value of 97.59%. The practicality assessment by the teacher obtained a score of 95.83% with very practical criteria and a student assessment in the field trial (large group evaluation) with a score of 90.45% with very practical criteria. The results of the effectiveness test found that the class using the E-Module on ecology and environmental change with the guided inquiry approach had higher scores than the class that did not use the E-Module, so the use of the E-Module with the guided inquiry approach supplemented with pictures, animations and videos could help students understand the material. It can be concluded that the E-Module on ecology and environmental change with the guided inquiry approach that has been developed is in the category of very valid, very practical, and very effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Subjek penelitian adalah 167 orang siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Jambi tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui instrumen tes berupa soal-soal pilihan ganda, lembar jawaban, dan kunci jawaban. Teknik analisis data menggunakan program Anates versi 4.0.9 untuk mengetahui reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda, kualitas pengecoh, dan rekap analisis butir soal. Hasil dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, nilai reliabilitas soal tes sebesar 0,06 dengan kriteria sangat rendah. Untuk Tingkat kesukaran butir soal terdapat tingkat kesukaran "sangat mudah" berjumlah 4 soal, "mudah" berjumlah 2 soal, "sedang" berjumlah 7 soal, "sukar" berjumlah 4 soal, dan "sangat sukar" berjumlah 8 soal. Pada daya pembeda butir soal, terdapat 7 butir soal tergolong ke dalam kategori "sangat buruk", 8 butir soal tergolong "buruk", 6 butir soal tergolong "cukup", dan 4 butir soal tergolong "baik". Sedangkan hasil analisis kualitas pengecoh butir soal, yaitu memiliki tingkat pengecoh soal kurang dari 51% yang pada umumnya terdapat pada setiap butir soal. Selain itu, sangat sedikit pengecoh soal dengan kategori persentase (51-75 atau 126-150) dan 76-125. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa, secara keseluruhan tidak ada soal yang dapat langsung dipakai, namun harus dilakukan perbaikan pada beberapa soal, dan sisanya tidak dapat dipakai. Terdapat 11 soal yang perlu dilakukan perbaikan, dan sisanya 14 soal yang tidak dapat dipakai.
