The purpose of the study was to find out the Influence of aerobic training and Interval Training on selected physical physiological and skill related variables of football players. To achieve these purpose 45 football players were selected randomly, from periyar maniammai University, Tamilnadu, India. The age of the subjects were ranged between 18 and 23 years. They were simplified into three groups. Each group consist of 15 subjects, which were assumed to be appropriate for the purpose of the study. The experimental treatment assigned as aerobic training and Interval Training to the two experimental groups, which was stipulated for 12 weeks (3 alternate days per week) they participated in the research voluntarily and cheerfully without any compulsion. The experimental design used for this study was formulated as random group design involving forty five subjects, who were divided at random into three groups of fifteen each. They were simplified into three group"s namely experimental group I, experimental group II and control group. Each group consist of 15 students each, which are assured to be large enough for the purpose of the study. The experimental treatment aerobic training and Interval Training assigned to the experimental group I and experimental group II respectively, which was stipulated for 12 weeks (3 alternate days per week) they participated in the research voluntarily and cheerfully without any compulsion. Control group did not go for any training. All the subjects tested prior and after the experimental treatment periods on selected criterion variables of physical, physiological and skill related variables. The Physical Variables such as Speed and Agility Physiological Variables forced vital capacity Skill Related Variables Dribbling were selected as criterion variables. The test items to appraise the criterion variables are Speed (50 yards dash), Agility (Shuttle run), Forced vital capacity (Micro Spirometer) and Dribbling (Dribbling (zig-zag)) were selected as test items. All the subjects of two groups were tested on criterion variables at prior to and immediately after the training programme on both right and left hand respectively. The analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to find out the significant difference. Further, independent "t" was calculated to find out the difference between left and right hand and the magnitude of improvement was also calculated to find out the level of improvement on dexterous. In all the case .05 level of confidence was fixed to test the significance.

The purpose of the study was to find out the Effects of anaerobic training on selected motor fitness components and football skill performance on college men players. To achieve the purpose of the study, twenty four (n=45) male football players were selected from Meenatchi Physical Education College, Thathanur, Ariyalur randomly as participants. The age of the participants was ranged from 21 to 25 years. Their age group ranged from twenty one to twenty five were divided into three equal groups. The subjects were tested on selected motor fitness variables (Speed-50 meters dash and explosive power-standing broad jump) and skill performance variables (Dribbling-Warner dribbling test, passing and shooting-Mor-Christian general soccer ability skill test battery) using the standardized tools. The subjects of the Experimental group I were administrated anaerobic with skill practice, Experimental group II were administrated only skill practice for six week session, they were trained for three alternately days a week for about six weeks during the course of treatment. The subjects of control group thanthai hans roever arts and science college, Perambalur were not underwent any specific training. After completion of the treatment period, the subjects of three groups were tested on selected variables and the scores were recorded in their respective units as post-test scores. The statistical tools used are described here. Analysis of co-variance was applied to determine whether the training programmes produced significantly different improvements in selected variables after six weeks of training. Since the initial means were not matched, comparisons between actual could not be made, all means were adjusted by regression to a common mean. The significance on difference of pairs of adjusted final group means was tested for significance by applying scheffe's post hoc test.

Reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (ROS/RNS) such as superoxide (O), hydrogen peroxide, lipid hydroperoxides, peroxynitrite, and hypochlorous and hypobromous acids play a key role in many pathophysiological processes. Recent studies have focused on mitochondrial ROS as redox signaling species responsible for promoting cell division, modulating and regulating kinases and phosphatases, and activating transcription factors. Many ROS also stimulate cell death and senescence. The extent to which these processes occur is attributed to ROS levels (low or high) in cells. However, the exact nature of ROS remains unknown. Investigators have used redox-active probes that, upon oxidation by ROS, yield products exhibiting fluorescence, chemiluminescence, or bioluminescence. Mitochondria-targeted probes can be used to detect ROS generated in mitochondria. However, because most of these redox-active probes (untargeted and mitochondria-targeted) are oxidized by several ROS species, attributing re...
