Lifelong Learning (LPH) is a process of acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies either formally or informally based on experience and training. However, not all institutions are ready to change their approach to increase competitiveness and also the appreciation of knowledge in life. The study shows that the factors of leadership and good relations with the community have an impact on the change of mosque institutions, depending on the atmosphere such as the existence of goals, organizational structure, energy resources and organizational culture. The mosque institution is a suitable place to generate thoughts and appreciation of Islam by empowering the internal and external potential of a member of the community. The research that will be conducted aims to find answers about the level of awareness and involvement of the community in the activiti...

Design/methodology/approach The study used cross-sectional robust least square regression for parameter estimates. Findings The results confirmed the N-shaped relationship between the health-care logistics performance index (HLPI) and COVID-19 cases. It implies that initially HLPI increases along with an increase in COVID-19 cases. Later down, it decreases COVID-19 cases by providing continued access to medical devices and personal protective equipment. Again, it increases due to resuming economic activities across countries. Practical implications The continuing health-care supply chain is crucial to minimize COVID-19 cases. The international support from the developed world in providing health-care equipment, debt resettlement and resolving regional conflicts is deemed desirable to escape the SSA countries from the COVID-19 pandemic. Originality/value The importance of the health-care supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic is evident in the forecasting estimates, which shows that from August 2021 to April 2022, increasing the health-care supply chain at their third-degree level would reduce coronavirus registered cases. The results conclude that SSA countries required more efforts to contain coronavirus cases by thrice increasing their health-care logistics supply chain.

It introduces the concept of Rabbani leadership that places great importance to shared responsibilities and accountability and practices driven by internal drives aligned to concerns for godly/divine righteousness (ketuhanan), human development (keinsanan), and professional development. Leadership focus refers to dominance of practices exhibiting the specific concerns, be it developing the spiritual self, the human self or the professional self. The results show that the general focus of the principal leadership practices were all three aspects of moral judgement, that is concern for divine rightousness, human development, and professional development or developing the professional self.

Rabbani leadership rests upon Islamic values and the assumption that leadership practices are influenced by the leader’s moral commitment, the basis of which are concerns for godliness, concern for human development, and concern for professional development of their members, and their practices were focused on all aspects of the principalship functions. The results show that leadership practices of Malaysian National Islamic School principals were generally guided by moral commitment, but leadership practices varied in terms of their focus, depending on whether they were more focused on godliness, human development or professional development of staff, or a combination of the three concerns. When identified into four types, based on strength of leadership influence, it was found that leadership focus of Type I Rabbani principals was godliness, while their practices showed they were concerned with all aspects of principalship functions; Type II was more focused on concern for human development of individuals with practices concentrating on developing teacher leadership capacity. Type III was more inclined to focus on professional development, while their practices were apparently not much guided by moral judgment. Type IV, did not show an apparent focus on any of the three concerns of moral commitment, changing from time to time; and likewise their practices were not consistently apparent on any aspect of leadership practice identified as principalship functions, while their leadership was in general much weaker as compared to the other types.

Recent research shows that the extent of depression, suicidal attempts, drug addictions, anxiety, and stress level have been on the rise significantly worldwide. It has become one of our critical social concerns. Unfortunately, these symptoms are more prevalent among tertiary-level students. These young people suffer from various disorders and various forms of depression. Since the young generation, like university students, are our prime strengths, their dejection and weak mental disposition are a significant loss and threat to our country. This problem is becoming more intense with time and causing vital social changes. This research investigated this issue using quantitative techniques, including a questionnaire survey. SPSS version 24 was used to determine the relationship between dependent and independent variables. The main goal is to determine the severity and variance underlying mental depression so that re...

The development of the leadership framework begins with the spiritual aspect, which is very closely related to the faith. Rabbani’s character in the leadership shown by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) so emphasizes the spiritual aspect with a different approach from ordinary spiritual values. The faith generates Rabbani’s characteristics that influence the leadership framework that emphasizes two principles, namely the vision of leadership and the impact of leadership practice. The impact of leadership as a predictor has the potential to influence leadership practices related to the appreciation of divinity, humanity, and the development of life. The Rabbani characteristics that develop in a leader will influence his vision of leadership as a manifestation of the appreciation of religious life based on faith. Both of these principles act as key factors in the creation of an organizational leadership framework that demonstrates the relationship between faith and spirituality.

Inadequate sanitary facilities, contaminated drinking water, nonrenewable energy, and high traffic congestion have all impacted the natural ecosystem. Using data from 1975 to 2019, the study assessed the impact of the aforementioned variables on Pakistan’s carbon emissions in light of this crucial fact. The ARDL cointegration method was used to estimate the short- and long-run parameter estimates. Urban sanitation challenges and energy consumption increase carbon emissions, which affects the natural environment by raising a country’s carbon intensity. Economic expansion confirmed the inverted U-shaped relationship between carbon emissions and economic growth to verify the Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis in the long run. In contrast, the monotonically rising function of carbon emissions provides evidence of the nation’s economic development in the short run. Access to clean drinking water improve...

On the other hand, its negative impact eclipses its positive impact, namely the rise in healthcare expenditures due to its ecological footprint. Globally, rising out-of-pocket health expenses result from logistic-induced carbon emissions, posing a danger to the long-term viability of healthcare. Methods: Based on this critical fact, this study examined the impact of logistics operations on healthcare costs by controlling for carbon emissions, fuel imports, and economic development across a large cross-section of 131 nations by using the Robust Least Squares Regression. Results: The findings demonstrate a U-shaped association between logistical operations and healthcare expenditures, i.e., if there is a 1% increase in logistics operations, healthcare expenditures decrease by −2.421% initially, while at later stages, healthca...

From these two sources, there appear Ijma’ (consensus) and Qiyas (analogic reasoning) as supporting complements to Islamic law. Both sources enable Muslims to apply any injunction (nass) to a new circumstance and create a new injunction. With the advancement of the information technology, these two sources are easily referred through cd, soft wares, online information which provide traditional and modern commentaries on the Quran. While the Hadith has been regarded as a secondary source and covers various aspects of human life in social interaction, economic life and personal welfare. The issue that come to our concern is that how to identify hadith authenticity and sources prior to be considered as Islamic source of reference. This is necessary to prevent Muslims from being exposed to negative effect such as their faith, religious law and other acts of worship. Furthermore, the number of fabricated hadiths k...
