During the year 2007, we conducted a research project funded by the Ministry of Education and Science (Spain) through the convocation called "Studies and Analysis." In this article we will focus on the process followed to build the categorical analysis system, which specifically call as "File assessment, analysis and classification of documents related to e-learning and results achieved”, according to the goals of our work.

This study aims to provide information on the training of future early childhood education teachers and their relationship with technologies. The work is based on a pretest–posttest methodology through a cross sectional descriptive study. The sample is made up of 535 4th year students of the Degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Seville. Descriptive and contrast analyses were performed as well as contrast statistics and effect size. The results show that the training received by the students was a key element to improve self-perception of digital competence. There were statistically significant changes between before and after receiving the training. The changes produced always meant an improvement in the students’ self-perception. In the study of their profiles, relevant changes were also identified. Whereas before training subjects were grouped into newcomer an...

The 7 most commonly used competence frameworks in international contexts are presented for evaluation through expert judgment. Next, the most suitable for the subsequent realization of a t-MOOC on Teacher Digital Literacy was selected. The selection of these experts was based on seven criteria that helped to establish the expert knowledge coefficient (EKC). This strategy served to obtain the viability of the selected sample. A total of 412 people, 155 experts and 257 non-experts participated in this study. After conducting the expert judgment, in a single round, it was concluded that the European Framework of Digital Competence for Teachers DigCompEdu is the most valued and adequate to be used as reference for the formative t-MOOC, followed by INTEF. This result is logical, since the latter is inspired by the former. These findings ...

The university teaching staff demonstrated positive attitudes towards the e-learning and b-learning process, the methods used, the support offered by the university, and the development programme. The research demonstrates the success of the programme, and shows that it promotes diversity within the university by making use of a variety of personal and professional factors. It also confirms that the majority of teaching staff at the universities do not consider the use of different platforms to be a problem, and that the success of the experience is dependent on the support and attitudes of the university. We found significant differences between the lecturers in terms of gender in two areas: male lecturers had more knowledge of the tools, and female lecturers made more use of them.
