The banking sector is the wheel of any economy. This sector is the most dominant sector of the financial system in India, with good valuations and increasing profits. After liberalization in 1991, the banking industry underwent major changes. Private Banks came into force, and now, they are playing a major role in the development of the Indian banking industry. In the process, they have jolted the public sector banks out of complacency and have forced them to become more competitive. The objective of present paper is to analyze the major component of the lending policy of the Indian private sector banks. This attempt also sheds light on a comparative study of financial performance between few selected private banks through their different lending options. In this attempt, the authors have just tried to emphasize the role of loan performance as a key agent in the profitability of private banks during the years 2002 - 2007.

The Calcifying epithelial odontogenic cyst (CEOC/COC) is a relatively rare developmental odontogenic cyst. It is a pathological entity with certain characteristics of cyst, but also possesses features of a solid neoplasm and its malignant transformation is well documented. The similarity in nomenclature between Calcifying epithelial odontogenic cyst and Calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor often leads to confusion. However, both are distinctly separate pathologic entities. A case of an 11 year old female patient presenting with a slowly progressive painless swelling and multiple missing teeth on right side of maxilla is reported here.

Renal cell carcinoma has been classified into various subtypes with newer emerging entities. The tumors have different cytogenetic, molecular characteristics and recognizing histologic patterns of Renal cell carcinoma(RCC) is important not only for correct diagnosis, but also for providing insight into the biological behavior of the tumor and subsequent appropriate medical care for the patient. Pigments other than hemosiderin have been described in renal cell carcinoma but a very few case reports are there of melanin deposition. Melanotic tumors, either primary or metastatic, are rare in the kidney. Herein we present a rare case of RCC with melanocytic differentiation, a variant that may lead to diagnostic error and may warrant the classification of this entity separately. Over the years the surface water quality of Indian rivers has been degrading. There are various reasons for the degradation of quality of river waters in Indian conditions. The pollution potential of river water involves various factors such as pH, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Coliform and Fecal Coliform. The paper presents an approach to develop an empirical equation to predict the pollution potential of river water. The empirical equation developed uses aforementioned factors as variables. These variables have been assigned various ratings on a scale of 1-3 according to standard pollution potential charts. The pollution potential predicted using this empirical equation is in congruence with the current potential pollution of Indian rivers.

Pregnancy in the rudimentary horn is rare and carries grave consequences for the mother and fetus. A case report is presented of a 26 year old single gravida 3 para 0+2 lady with rupture of a rudimentary horn pregnancy at a gestational age of 20 weeks. Laparotomy was done and the rudimentary horn excised. Post-operative recovery was uneventful. The need for a high index of suspicion and the role of ultrasonography in the accurate diagnosis is highlighted.

The objective of this research is to study the various spectrum of histological findings of colonoscopic biopsies received in a tertiary care centre. Materials and methods: This were a prospective study which included the colonoscopic biopsies from 132 patients received in the department of Pathology, SCB Medical College, Cuttack from January 2020 to December 2021, over a period of 2 years. Objectives To study the role of combined diagnostic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in evaluation of female infertility. To find out different factors associated with infertility. To provide concurrent therapeutic management. Materials and methods A total of 100 women underwent combined diagnostic laparoscopy and simultaneous diagnostic hysteroscopy during the period from January 2015 to December 2015 in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Umaid Hospital, Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Results Age ranged from 21 to 38 years, and mean age was 25.98 years. Abnormal laparoscopic findings were noted in 41% cases, abnormal hysteroscopy seen in 24% cases, and 17% cases showed abnormality in both. Bilateral tubal patency was demonstrated in 81% cases. Tubal blockage was bilateral in 5% and unilateral in 9% cases. In 2% cases, bilateral block with beaded appearance found suggestive of tuberculosis. Agriculture field has recently adopted the various techniques to boost the production and monitoring of seed germination in a professional manner. Temperature is the key factor in amending the germination of non-dormant seeds. This paper presents the various computational developed prediction models for calculating seed germination growth rate. Also in this paper their merits and demerits are depicted to analyze them. These are helpful in monitoring and controlling the seed germination process to enable higher quality storage and produce good yield of crops.

<jats:p>The study intended to explore the internal locus of control of male and female students of management institutes in Delhi, NCR, and a psychological social learning theory that is thoroughly investigated its implications on leadership abilities of an individual. The primary research strategy employed was the survey strategy. Respondents were requested to fill in a questionnaire that was intended to test their locus of control. The study surveyed 400 students who are pursuing management. The t test was applied to identify the relationship between gender and locus of control. The study aimed to explore the locus of control of management students. Hence, present study was carrying out to compare locus of control between female and male learners of management institutes in Delhi, NCR. The study was based on primary data, and participants were drawn from a pool of students seeking management education. The findings reveal that there is no statistically significant difference in locus of control between male and female students. The current study's findings can be used to contradict or support earlier studies on locus of control.</jats:p>

Desktop virtualization has been enabled by VMware, consequently, the manufacturers are expected to soon adopt the virtualization technology within mobile devices. The traditional smartphones no longer apply to secure virtualization on the mobile devices. With ever-increasing demands of smartphones for work as well as personal usage, smartphones are no longer seen as stand-alone devices. Mobile virtualization is expected to provide a new direction to mobile technology that enables hardware to run with less memory, reduced cost, increased energy efficiency and better flexibility. This paper provides an analysis of virtualization technology with respect to its application within the mobile devices, followed by its offerings and benefits. Further, this paper presents a detailed comparison among the most popular mobile operating systems, including Android, iOS, Windows and Symbian.
