After explaining the new technique, it is applied to a fuzzy bulk queue with modified Bernoulli vacation and restricted admissible customers. Batches of customers arrive at the system according to a compound Poisson process. All arriving batches are not allowed to enter the system. The restriction policy depends on availability or otherwise of the server. This system is analyzed in fuzzy environment using the new method developed. Some special cases are discussed and a numerical study is also carried out. The new method can be applied to any queuing system in fuzzy environment. Imperatively, the operation logic in the two seasons are quite different. If the two operations are not sufficiently coordinated, they may produce poor responses to the system dynamics. There are high levels of uncertainties on the model parameters, values and how they are logically operated by human or automated systems. Soft computing methods represent the system as an artificial neural network (ANN) in which the input- output relations take the form of fuzzy numbers, fuzzy arithmetic and fuzzy logic (FL). Based on the type of data used to express the different alternatives, different approaches/methodologies are employed to tackle the fuzzy MCDM problems. The mostly used tools to deal with such problems are aggregation operators and score functions. In this monograph we elaborate the use of score functions in solving fuzzy MCDM problems, introduce a new weighted geometric aggregation operator, discuss the drawbacks and short comings of the existing score functions and emphasize the need for new score functions to overcome the existing deficiencies. There are m alternatives which need to be ranked on the basis of a set of n criteria. The alternatives and the criteria are evaluated based on a set of l characteristics. The entire data is presented in the form of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy soft set of root type. In addition each criterion is assigned a subjective criterion weight based on expert’s evaluation and each characteristic is assigned a probability weight on the basis of decision maker’s knowlege and understanding of the importance of the characteristic. This problem may be called as a MCDM problem under risk in fuzzy environment in its general form.
