This is a qualitative research with a social phenomelogy paradigm and was conducted in Yellu Village, South Misool District, Raja Ampat Islands. The number of children dropping out in Yellu Vilage was influenced by two factors. Internal factor includes lack of motivation from them in order to improve education. Some of external factors are lack of parental supporting, associating with their peers who are not in school, children who easily earn some money without going to school due to the emergence of pearl companies that requires labor and abundant marine resources to get fish and seaweed, unsupportive educational facilities, lack of supporting from local government and the private sector in order to education development.

The Matbat tribe inhabitants establish a system to unite the Matbat people to create stability and peace in overcoming external situations. The intriguing part of the Matbat tribe is that they, starting from an individual level, keep preserving their communal tradition to sustain peace among them and defend their territory. The customary structure of the Matbat people in West Misool was created based on mutual agreement with the roles, duties and functions that are obtained to maintain balance and harmony aimed at kinship values. There are various symbols in the implementation of the Som, which act as a vehicle of conception that has a meaning as mediation that is actualization in daily life. How the myth of Cuwig's mythical influence on religious life in the village of Lilinta in the Raja Ampat-Papua archipelago and in interpreting and reformulate their religious life in response to the myth of Cuwig. Religious knowledge has an important meaning to improve the faith of the community, thus creating religious emotion, encouraging people to do religious actions, although there is still a society believing the mystical, lack of of religious development. The mythical ghost of Cuwig is influenced by the environment. Myths evolved from the simultaneous stories beginning with the emergence of sudden death from the citizens, the problem spread the issue of the science of Cuwig in the intended person.
This study aims to determine the factors that cause the high number of children dropping out of s... more This study aims to determine the factors that cause the high number of children dropping out of school in Yellu Village, South Misool District, Raja Ampat Islands. This is a qualitative research with a social phenomelogy paradigm and was conducted in Yellu Village, South Misool District, Raja Ampat Islands. The number of children dropping out in Yellu Vilage was influenced by two factors. Internal factor includes lack of motivation from them in order to improve education. Some of external factors are lack of parental supporting, associating with their peers who are not in school, children who easily earn some money without going to school due to the emergence of pearl companies that requires labor and abundant marine resources to get fish and seaweed, unsupportive educational facilities, lack of supporting from local government and the private sector in order to education development.
