Database Relasional yang merupakan database modern yang dapat meminimalkan terdapatnya tabel tabel yang tidak normal serta memudahkan pemisahan objek objek, namun demikian penentuan relasi dan penggunaan query akan semakin kompleks untuk mendapatkan informasi sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Namun untuk kebutuhan aplikasi yang membutuhkan sumberdaya memori yang tetap bertambah, penggunaan pointer dapat menjadi alternatif, dimana penggunaan memori dapat di pakai dan dilepas pada saat aplikasi sedang berjalan.

Laboratorium sebagai sarana untuk pembelajaran dilingkungan AMIK MBP Medan, untuk menjamin berjalannya layanan kepada mahasiswa, maka setiap laboratorium diawasi oleh laboran yang diseleksi dari mahasiswa aktif. Untuk mendapatkan laboran atau yang disebut dengan asisten laboratorium diseleksi secara bertahap, dimana setiap mahasiswa berhak untuk mendaftar dan mengikuti seleksi sebagaimana yang sudah di tetapkan. Adapun variabel seleksi yaitu Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), Test tertulis, Tes Praktek, Wawancara oleh Kepala Laboratorium serta Wawancara oleh Manajemen.Dari serangkaian penilaian, maka untuk menentukan kelayakan peserta dapat digunakan model Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan menggunakan algoritma TOPSIS.

Clustering is a process of sorting out a data set to become separate cluster groups and each has similarities, and aims to group the data into one cluster. This research aims to group the book information which is contained in Universitas Prima Indonesia, by using K-means clustering method. On this K-means clustering algorithm, the variables used as input are : NIM, Name, Book Title and Author. The output produced consists of 3 clusters, those are (C1) the most frequently borrowed book, (C2) book that is often borrowed, and (C3) book that is rarely borrowed. With the use of this K-means Clustering method, the final result obtained consists of member of cluster 1 as many as 19 members, member of cluster 2 as many as 22 members, and member of cluster 3 as many as 19 members. The information of grouping this book data can be used by the library. This thesis proposes an evaluation model of hospital services to patients, to the patient's role in providing input in the form of the response of what they felt during the service received from the hospital, in the manufacture of this model is to use the instrument in the form of a questionnaire given to patients undergoing inpatient General hospital Herna Medan. To determine satisfaction can be use with the set of crisp with a fixed range of values, but this model is a little unfair in giving the results of measurements , because the output which given of the crisp, so the measurement of satisfaction can be done with fuzzy logic membership functions using a curve triangular and sigmoid curve, so that will get the satisfaction of the fuzzy set. The value of satisfaction is obtained by comparing the value of all unit care, so that will get units that provide the best service or less satisfaction can be use by management to evaluate its services. From the results obtained based on the assessment of patients, the use of triangular and sigmoid curves yield the same linguistic membership degree even if it is different, and this assessment model can be used in the measurement of satisfaction that does not have a standardized assessment standard
