Regulations shape the Industry. Takaful industry is a growing industry and widely introduced throughout the world. Malaysia is still one of the leading countries in researching and implementing Takaful regulations. However the implementation of Takaful regulation in Malaysia is very much subject to Insurance law and hardly can be seen as having its own entity. Therefore this paper will discuss whether Takaful Operator can be successful in this dual system of Takaful and insurance as well as highlighting the issues of this dual system brings to hinder the growth of Takaful industry. In addition to that, this paper will also be giving suggestion on how regulation can be modified or enhanced to help the growth of Takaful industry.

In this paper we will understand the falling oil prices globally and the reasons behind it. Later on we will also try and understand the impacts these falling prices will leave on the currencies, specially the petrodollar. Lastly, we will also try and understand the its effects on global investments.

Allah S.W.T makes it very clear that He forbids interest based transactions and allowing sales. He also rejects the idea of making riba’ and sale transaction as the same as He gives clear distinction among both two transactions. The objective of this paper is to tell about Shariah compliant sale transactions. the types of sale contracts in Islamic Finance and their application as well as the issues surrounding the application of these contracts.

This paper observes the implication of Musharakah Mutanaqisah (MM) in the current Malaysian Islamic banking arena. Musharakah Mutanaqisah was previously suggested as a better alternative for Islamic home financing to replace the controversial Bay` Bithaman Ajil (BBA). However, till date, almost half of the Malaysian Islamic banks that offer Musharakah Mutanaqisah financing have stopped providing it. Many studies have been done on the theory, Shariah issues, features and usage of Musharakah Mutanaqisah instruments, but there are limited studies conducted on the implementation of Musharakah Mutanaqisah from the viewpoint of the Islamic banks and customers.
