In this project, the Magnetocalorific Effect in the Heusler Alloy Ni50Mn30Ga20 was studied using ... more In this project, the Magnetocalorific Effect in the Heusler Alloy Ni50Mn30Ga20 was studied using a Vibrating Sample Magnetometer and a Differential Scanning Calorimeter. Using the result so obtained, the Martensitic transformation was analyzed and the Martensitic Start (Ms), Martensitic Finish (Mf), Austenitic Start (As) and Austenitic Finish (Af) was determined. The second part of the project dealt with Magnetic Field Induced Strain (MFIS) measurement.

We tried to innovate and introduce certain changes in the process and the elements used, to make it more accessible to the masses.

Quantum learning paradigms address the question of how best to harness conceptual elements of qua... more Quantum learning paradigms address the question of how best to harness conceptual elements of quantum mechanics and information processing to improve operability and functionality of a computing system for specific tasks through experience. It is one of the fastest evolving framework, which lies at the intersection of physics, statistics and information processing, and is the next frontier for data sciences, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Progress in quantum learning paradigms is driven by multiple factors: need for more efficient data storage and computational speed, development of novel algorithms as well as structural resonances between specific physical systems and learning architectures. Given the demand for better computation methods for data-intensive processes in areas such as advanced scientific analysis and commerce as well as for facilitating more data-driven decision-making in education, energy, marketing, pharmaceuticals and health-care, finance and industry.

This is critical to the realisation of quantum cluster states and graph networks using transverse degrees of freedom. A generalisation of the proposed scheme to arbitrary number and kinds of degrees of freedom, for optical systems, as well as arbitrary operations to be conditionally performed is proposed.

Dharma is an often cited and even more often misunderstood term. This is partially because there ... more Dharma is an often cited and even more often misunderstood term. This is partially because there is no word in the occidental traditions or even some of the oriental ones that can describe this term. It is also because, in the case of Sanatan Dharma/Hinduism or even Buddhism, many of the texts have been lost or written over, as per the convenience and scholarship of generations of philosophers and writers, often at the expense of the meaning of 'Dharma' as it was originally conceived. In this essay, titled 'Dharmashrama' (translates as 'Refuge in Dharma'), I will be looking at textual evidences and other sources of information to support what can be seen as the original and true meaning of 'Dharma.' In the process, I hope to (re)establish a key cornerstone of Sanatan Dharma as it was originally conceived, to an extent.
