  1. Matty Interviews Todd Howard: Future Of Fallout, Starfield Year 2, Elder Scrolls VI Info, & MORE!

Today, I am joined by Todd Howard to discuss the future of Bethesda Game Studios! As I'm sure you expected, we get into the thick of what's happening with Fallout. The series is at its most popular, so what's happening with the upcoming games? The same could be asked for Elder Scrolls which hasn't seen a mainline entry since 2011, so I did just that. Plus, we get into the thick of some massive content coming to Starfield, its long term plans, and what we should expect moving forward. I also tried to get inside the mind of Todd. How does the studio handle feedback and what did some of the criticism of Starfield give birth to?

In what is a dream interview, I hope you enjoy all of the new information that Todd divulges here. To those of you who have watched me for years, you know what this means to me. Thank you for your support which allowed us to get this far and thank you to Bethesda alongside Todd for trusting me with such a rare opportunity here! :)

On this week's special episode of The MacRumors Show from Apple Park, we look at all of the major updates coming to Apple's operating systems later this year and Apple Intelligence.

Monday's keynote event was insane, and jam-packed with an overwhelming number of AI features that are going to change the way we use Apple devices. We were able to visit the Apple Podcasts studio for the day just after the event to discuss what's in store.

We take a look at Apple Intelligence, which is what Apple calls the AI capabilities coming to almost every app iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. Apple is focusing on practical tools that drastically improve the functionality of Siri, help you write and edit, and cut down on the little hassles in life. It's not all business, though, and there are some fun image and emoji generating tools that we go over, along with a surprising partnership with OpenAI that lets ‌Siri‌ loop in ChatGPT for requests.

We also get into the new ‌iOS 18‌ Home Screen design options, the revamped Control Center, and the features coming to Messages, plus we delve into the changes th…

  4. How to unleash the power of AI, with Ethan Mollick

This is a must-listen for anyone who’s even remotely interested in implementing AI in their work and organisation.

Ethan Mollick is an Associate Professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studies and teaches innovation, entrepreneurship, and AI’s impact on work and education. I think of him as Jacques Cousteau of deep divers into the world of AI chatbots — he has gone deeper in his experiments with tools like ChatGPT than most people. His upcoming book Co-Intelligence: Living and Working with AI (out on 2 April) is a detailed playbook for using AI in work and everyday life.

Here’s what you’ll learn in our conversation:

    • Ethan and I share how we use ChatGPT and other tools in our work — and simple practices to achieve better results in your day-to-day use,

    • What is the observed impact of AI in work, as studied by Ethan and his colleagues, and published in their 2023 study Navigating the Jagged Technological Frontier (see EV441)

    • How businesses and individuals can develop strategies for harnessing the power of AI.

    • How to maintain the balance between exploration and exploitation as you implement AI in your organisation — and how to prepare for the unknown future.

  9. Peter Thiel - Keynote Address | The Conservative and Republican Student Conference

Peter Thiel delivers his keynote address at the inaugural Conservative and Republican Student Conference, hosted jointly with the Harvard Salient. The conference took place on Saturday, February 10th at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge, M.A, just steps away from Harvard Square.

Mr. Thiel is joined by Harvard Law School Professor Adrian Vermeule for a discussion after the address.

Video and Audio Production by Halberstadt Productions

About the Conservative and Republican Student Conference: Today’s academic consensus leaves little room for conservative ideas. Having left the right behind, academia finds itself all too often consumed by intellectual fads and untethered from the needs of our public discourse. The Conservative and Republican Student Conference was created to address this problem. The inaugural conference aims to provide Harvard students with a venue where they can hear from conservative leaders, policymakers and academics. It also serves as a gathering space for right-leaning students at one of the most liberal university campuses in the country. We hope that your discussions continue after our program concludes and that this conference sparks a revival of conservative thought at Harvard and throughout higher education.
