What We License

Notice: August 13, 2024

RIDOH’s Licensing unit is receiving a large number of license applications and renewals. Right now, once RIDOH receives a complete, initial application, it is taking six to eight weeks to process. License renewals are processed each business day. RIDOH will contact licensees via email if any information is missing.

To help avoid delays in processing your license application or renewal:

  • Make sure RIDOH has your current email. RIDOH contacts licensees via email. (RIDOH does not recommend using work or school emails because those sometimes change.) If you need to update your name, address, or email, download and complete the Licensee Profile Change Form and return it to the RIDOH email address provided in the form.
  • Each license application or renewal has a checklist of all the required items that need to be submitted. Before you submit your application or renewal, be sure that all of the required information is included.
  • Your registration code for license renewal does not change. Write down and save your registration code to use whenever you renew your license.

Licensing and enforcement of ENDS products
