Scope Note
Use Research Portfolio Online Reporting Tools (RePORT) to find reports, data, and analyses of NIH research activities, including information on NIH expenditures and the results of NIH-supported research.
The RePORT suite includes:
- RePORTER. Search for NIH funded projects, investigators, publications, and patents.

- NIH Awards by Location. Explore year-by-year NIH funding by institution, state, congressional district, and more.
- Categorical Spending. Understand the annual support level for various research, condition, and disease categories (RCDC) based on grants, contracts, other funding mechanisms, and disease burden data.
- NIH Data Book. Find basic summary statistics on extramural grants and contract awards, grant applications, the organizations that NIH supports, the trainees and fellows supported through NIH programs, and the national biomedical workforce.
