Dean Thomson, also known as Grahf, is a talented indie game developer and musician from Melbourne, Australia. He is known for his focus on narrative-heavy adventure games that explore unusual subject matters, drawing heavily from noir cinema, 80s horror, and psychological thrillers.
Dean is a valued member of the small indie game studio "Bohemian Pulp", which is located in Serbia and was founded by Djordje and Jasmina Markovic. Currently, he is working on the studio's upcoming cyberpunk noir thriller "Let Bions Be Bygones", as well as his own video game re-imagining of the 1945 noir classic "Detour", which will also be released under the Bohemian Pulp banner.
Dean's debut project, "Road to Nowhere", was noted for its unique social themes in regard to depression and anxiety, as well as its stunning visual aesthetic. The game received critical acclaim and was nominated for an award at the NZ Games Festival in 2021.
