We currently support the latest stable release of Text Forge. Other versions may not receive security updates.

Security updates are released annually, but if an immediate vulnerability is identified, we may release one even a month after the previous security update.
As user, please use latest version for safer experience.
While contributing to Text Forge, please:
- Avoid introducing hardcoded credentials or sensitive data
- Sanitize input and avoid unsafe dynamic evaluations
- Follow principles of the least privilege in scripts and modes
- Run thorough tests before merging features that affect file access, networking, or input parsing
For urgent security issues, please mark your message subject as [Security], do not create a public issue.
