This does not get into as much detail as the Scala Collection Library guide,
and links to it as further reference. I'm not sure this FAQ is necessary, but
it should at least provide another point of entry to the aforementioned guide.

Hey Daniel- this is great, thanks a lot for providing it. It offers a much-needed bridge between Martin's 2.8 collections document, and the refactorings that came about for 2.9 and parallel collections. It might get some wording tweaks, but otherwise is quite useful as-is! Thanks again!
