A batch_size of 1 will avoid multiRequest completely

I'm wondering if we still want to test if multi requests are supported? Although I suppose/hope that all the devices do support it.

The default is 5 so we'd only miss this if someone set it to 1 which presumably they'd only do because the multiRequest failed and then they'd comment?
