ActuatorDemo

Actuator has endpoints like /info, /health, /env, /metrics.

By default only /info and /health are enabled for web. We need to include other endpoints if needed using this property

management.endpoints.web.exposure.include=info,health,metrics,env

Few other properties to expose /info endpoint with additional details:

info.app.name=Spring Boot Actuator Application

info.app.description=This is my first spring boot application to explore Actuator

info.app.version=@project.version@

To use:

http://localhost:8080/actuator/info http://localhost:8080/actuator/health http://localhost:8080/actuator/metrics - This lists down the properties that can be hit again to fetch details.

Ex: http://localhost:8080/actuator/metrics/system.cpu.count

docker:

1. Create Dockerfile
2. docker build -f Dockerfile -t actuator-image:1.0
3. docker run -p 8080:8080 actuator-image:1.0
