PR Summary

1st commit: Shorten comment & update link re: Qt focus policy.

2nd commit: Remove duplicate canvas assignments.

These self.canvas = canvas are already being done by the base class
init.

3rd commit: Dedupe _get_toolmanager and move it to base class init.

It's mostly simple, except specifically for the wx backend which for
some reason previously attached the toolmanager to the Frame (aka
"Window" in other toolkits parlance) so needs some properties to
redirect things to the right place.

PR Checklist

  • Has Pytest style unit tests
  • Code is Flake 8 compliant
  • New features are documented, with examples if plot related
  • Documentation is sphinx and numpydoc compliant
  • Added an entry to doc/users/next_whats_new/ if major new feature (follow instructions in README.rst there)
  • Documented in doc/api/api_changes.rst if API changed in a backward-incompatible way
