Problem

  • The first two paragraphs in the template matplotlibrc file are nearly duplicate of one another ("you can find a copy...") and should be deduplicated.
  • The :rc: role now renders the link as rcParam["name.of.rc"], but the correct name is rcParams, not rcParam.

At least the second issue would be good to fix in 3.6? But feel free to remilestone.
