TextFire is a simple dialog driven text adventure engine.
It is written in fully HTML5 and javascript, so it is supported by all current browsers.
Older versions might or will not work!
The engine comes with a canvas driven game-engine and an editor mostly based on HTML5.
It allows you to set customized variables and proof for their existence.
Also it comes with a history of displayed dialogs.
