NZART Podcast

These scripts are used to generate an NZART podcast feed.

add_episode.py

This script is used to add a new episode to the feed (or with --scan, to scan all the episodes in the assets/broadcast directory).

generate_feed.py

Using the podcast.db, generate an iTunes-compliant feed.

History

Originally written in 2013 to make the NZART Official Broadcast available in podcast form. Disabled by the webmaster in 2020. Recreated in 2024 using an intermediary database rather than scanning all of the MP3 files every time.
