This commit introduces an optional title attribute to the Session model.

The title attribute allows applications to assign a human-readable title to a session, which can be useful for display and organization purposes.

Changes include:

  • Added title: str | None = None to the Session class in src/google/adk/sessions/session.py.
  • Updated existing unit tests in tests/unittests/sessions/test_session_service.py and tests/unittests/sessions/test_vertex_ai_session_service.py to accommodate the new attribute. This involved updating session creation calls and mock data.
  • Added new unit tests in tests/unittests/sessions/test_session_service.py to specifically verify the functionality of the title attribute, including:
    • Creating sessions with and without a title.
    • Ensuring the default title is None.
    • Verifying that titles are correctly retrieved when listing sessions.

All tests pass with these changes.
