Data Validator is unable to index my data. I have uploaded the data several times and I found that the issue may stem from the eventID column. When I deleted this column and uploaded the data again, Data Validator functioned as expected. bug data validator Under review

Data downloads seem to have the .csv file extension by default even though they are tab-delimited. People who are reasonably savvy with managing spreadsheets will figure this out quickly, but I use GBIF data to teach undergrads and this is an unnecessary sticking point that leads to frustration. The selection of occurrences for the extreme northeast Asia (Chukotka peninsula) does not work. If I select the plant occurrences from this area by polygon, I get the response: "Failed. Your filters might be invalid or the servers having issues". There is no such problem with adjacent regions, for instance with Alaska or Kamchatka. Please fix this problem. Thanks! bug Under review
