Super nit: I would maybe throw all of the generator functions into a barrel file to tidy up the imports here.

Because
generator-exercise hasn't really been used. Replacing it with plop makes it more straightforward to create new exercises

I'd also be fine with just removing generator-exercise with no replacement if it just doesn't make sense to have a generator.
