Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/purewebdev/youtube-ad-muter.git
   cd youtube-ad-muter

2. Load the extension in Chrome:

   1. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
   2. Enable "Developer mode" by clicking the toggle switch in the top right corner.
   3. Click the "Load unpacked" button and select the directory where you cloned the repository.

Usage

1. Open YouTube in your Chrome browser.
2. The extension will based on your preferences automatically mute ads and skip them when possible.
3. You can configure the extension using the following checkboxes in the popup:
   • Mute Ads Enable: When checked, the extension will mute ads automatically.
   • Hide Distracting Advertisements: When checked, the extension will hide distracting image advertisements.
   • Skip Ad When Option is Given: When checked, the extension will automatically click the skip button when it appears.
   • Auto-Like At The End of Video: When checked, the extension will automatically like the video at the end.
   • Add to Watch Later Queue: Automatically adds the current video to the Watch Later queue after it plays for 10 seconds.
   • Remove from Watch Later Queue: Automatically removes the current video from the Watch Later queue if it has less than 10 seconds remaining.
