The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 4 replications. This study aims to determine crude protein and crude fiber content of silage complete feed-based ... more This study aims to determine crude protein and crude fiber content of silage complete feed-based hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes). This study was designed based on a completely randomized design with 4 treatments 4 replications. Treatment P0 = fermented 0 days, P1 = fermented 10 days, P2 = fermented 20 days, P3 = fermented 30 days. The results showed an average of crude protein content is P0 = 11.96%, P1 = 12.97%, P2 = 14.68%, and P3 = 12,76% and crude fiber is P0 = 21.88%, P1 = 24.36%, P2 = 22.91% and P3 = 24.62%. Conclusion of fermented in silage complete feed-based hyacinth significantly affects crude protein and crude fiber silage complete feed. Tongkol jagung merupakan hasil samping tanaman jagung yang jumlahnya cukup banyak, tetapi mengand... more Tongkol jagung merupakan hasil samping tanaman jagung yang jumlahnya cukup banyak, tetapi mengandung serat kasar, kadar lignin dan silika yang tinggi mengakibatkan kecernaan tongkol jagung menjadi rendah dan konsumsinya oleh ternak terbatas, sehingga perlu dilakukan fermentasi untuk dapat meningkatkan nilai nutrisi dari tongkol jagung tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan protein kasar, serat kasar, lemak kasar, dan BETN tongkol jagung yang difermentasi menggunakan jamur pelapuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan jamur pelapuk Tametes versicolor dan Ganoderma applanatum. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu A (Tongkol jagung tanpa fermentasi), B (tongkol jagung yang difermentasi jamur Trametes versicolor) dan C (tongkol jagung yang difermentasi jamur Ganoderma applanatum), setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 5 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan A, B dan C berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap protein kasar dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap lemak kasar tongkol jagung. Perlakuan fermentasi menggunakan jamur Trametes versicolor lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kualitas nutrisi tongkol jagung dibandingkan dengan jika fermentasi menggunakan jamur Ganoderma applanatum.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan NDF dan ADF silase pakan komplit berbahan dasar eceng gondok dengan lama fermentasi berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuandan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan P0 (lama fermentasi 0 hari), P1 (lama fermentasi 10 hari), P2 (lama fermentasi 20 hari) dan P3 (lama fermentasi 30 hari). Penelitian dilaksanakan di desa Timbuseng Kecamatan Polongbangkeng Utara Kabupaten Takalar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penentuan petani peternak sebagai responden secara acak yang dihitung berdasarkan Slovin (Umar, 1997), dengan jumlah responden 75 orang peternak. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan melakukan survey dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan yaitu wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, focus group discussion, serta wawancara secara mendalam (indepth study) kepada beberapa informan kunci. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik dan kandungan lemak kasar silase pakan komplit berbahan dasar eceng gondok dengan lama fermentasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan.Perlakuan P1 (lama fermentasi 0 hari atau kontrol), P2 (lama fermentasi 10 hari), P3 (lama fermentasi 20 hari) dan P4 (lama fermentasi 30 hari).Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa lama fermentasi yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P 0,05) terhadap kandungan lemak kasar silase pakan komplit. This study used white rot fungi isolates from wood and rice straw. The design used is a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 3 treatments repeated 5 times, namely A (Cocoa pod without fermentation), B (Cocoa pod fermented fungus isolates from wood), and C (Cocoa pod fermented fungus isolates from rice straw). Analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on crude protein and crude fiber and had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on crude fat and NFE of cocoa pod. Fermentation of cocoa pods using white rot fungi isolates from wood can increase crude protein content by 5.30% and reduce crude fiber by 12.54% to 19.35%. The research was conducted in Pajukukang subdistrict, Bantaeng regency, South Sulawesi province. The sample of farmers as respondents were determined at random and the number of samples was calculated using the Slovin formula. The primary data was obtained by questionnaires, focus group discussions (FGDs) and direct observation on the farm. Data analysis was performed through a descriptive approach comprising frequency and percentage. The results showed that the utilization of cattle recording cards in beef cattle breeding in the District of Pajukukang, Bantaeng regency were categorized as high, but there were still farmers who have not implemented the card. Penelitian dilaksanakan di desa Timbuseng Kecamatan Polongbangkeng Utara Kabupaten Takalar Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penentuan petani peternak sebagai responden secara acak yang dihitung berdasarkan Slovin (Umar, 1997), dengan jumlah responden 75 orang peternak. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan melakukan survey dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan yaitu wawancara menggunakan kuesioner, focus group discussion, serta wawancara secara mendalam (indepth study) kepada beberapa informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi peternak dalam perencanaan, pelaksanan dan evaluasi dalam penyuluhan di desa Timbuseng Kecamatan Polongbangkeng utara kurang dari 50% berada pada kategori rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik dan kandungan lemak kasar silase pakan komplit berbahan dasar eceng gondok dengan lama fermentasi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan.Perlakuan P1 (lama fermentasi 0 hari atau kontrol), P2 (lama fermentasi 10 hari), P3 (lama fermentasi 20 hari) dan P4 (lama fermentasi 30 hari).Analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa lama fermentasi yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata (P 0,05) terhadap kandungan lemak kasar silase pakan komplit. Rataan kandungan pH yaitu P0 = 7; P1 = 5,32; P2 = 4,18; P3 = 4,21. Rataan kandungan lemak kasar adalah P0 = 0,93%; P1 = 1,25%; P2 = 1,22 %; dan P3 = 0,92 %. This study used white rot fungi isolates from wood and rice straw. The design used is a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 3 treatments repeated 5 times, namely A (Cocoa pod without fermentation), B (Cocoa pod fermented fungus isolates from wood), and C (Cocoa pod fermented fungus isolates from rice straw). Analysis of variance showed that the treatment had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on crude protein and crude fiber and had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on crude fat and NFE of cocoa pod. Fermentation of cocoa pods using white rot fungi isolates from wood can increase crude protein content by 5.30% and reduce crude fiber by 12.54% to 19.35%. The research was conducted in Pajukukang subdistrict, Bantaeng regency, South Sulawesi province. The sample of farmers as respondents were determined at random and the number of samples was calculated using the Slovin formula. The primary data was obtained by questionnaires, focus group discussions (FGDs) and direct observation on the farm. Data analysis was performed through a descriptive approach comprising frequency and percentage. The results showed that the utilization of cattle recording cards in beef cattle breeding in the District of Pajukukang, Bantaeng regency were categorized as high, but there were still farmers who have not implemented the card. For this reason, the role and intensity of extension workers were needed in increasing the knowledge and willingness of farmers to implement the cattle cards in beef cattle breeding business.
