every time i leave the house with my wheelchair, i think about my friend Munis. Munis’s electric wheelchair has been broken for months, damaged by an israeli incendiary device. he’s been forced to use an old, uncomfortable manual chair, severely limiting his mobility. like so many people in Gaza, he is facing an extreme lack of medical infrastructure and supplies and unlivable, unsanitary conditions.
his family has been unable to find and afford food lately. temperatures are dropping at night, which is especially dangerous for paraplegic people like Munis, whose autonomic nervous systems may be damaged and unable to properly regulate body temperature. he needs money to repair his family’s tent and buy warm clothes and blankets.
Munis has been trying to raise funds since april 2024, but his campaign is still less than halfway to its goal of £10000. there has only been one donation in the past two weeks. please help me share this and donate if you can!! Munis and his mother’s needs become more urgent every day as disabled Palestinians trying to survive this genocide.

The ceasefire in Lebanon has supposedly taken effect two hours ago and everyone is on edge because no one trusts Israel but there is celebratory gunfire heard in Dahye so I’ll take that.
Last night, just hours before the agreement went into effect, Israel pounded Beirut with 50 airstrikes. This always happens, where Israel goes on one last killing spree like the bunch of psychopaths they are. I always think of the people who are killed in these last days.
This is a good time to remind everyone that Israel was in fact defeated in Lebanon and will be defeated in Gaza, and it’s not the “international community” that twisted Israel’s arm into agreeing to the ceasefire deal in Lebanon, but in fact it was armed resistance. This is exactly what settler colonial Israel is waging wars against; the right for people to defend their land and fight for their freedom.
