Daniel Watts
My research focuses on Kierkegaard, Wittgenstein and the phenomenological tradition. I also have interests in the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of language and moral and political philosophy. I'm currently working on a book manuscript on Kierkegaard and the limits of detachment.
I have been Co-Investigator on the AHRC-funded research project, 'The Ethics of Powerlessness: The Theological Virtues Today'. A major focus of this project is the ethics of palliative care. For more, see here: http://powerlessness.essex.ac.uk/
