My recent experience with HelloSign has been nothing short of a nightmare. After encountering a critical issue with their document signature functionality, I was unable to send out time-sensitive documents for signature, which severely impacted my business operations.
Despite clear documentation, the platform consistently led to numerous errors, causing significant disruption. Additionally, the lack of effective support and resolution prompted me to consider switching to a different e-signature service.
The inability to fulfill such a basic function reflects poorly on the reliability and capability of HelloSign's services. Ultimately, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I will not hesitate to seek alternative solutions. It's bewildering that a company specializing in e-signatures could fail so miserably in delivering on its promise.
I strongly advise others to exercise caution when considering HelloSign for their e-signature needs, as my experience has been nothing short of a disappointment.

Terrible support, copy/paste nonsense every response. Owned by DropBox so no surprise there. Can't use the drag/drop feature for templates or new documents when sending documents. Will cancel and go back to Adobe Sign, which I hate, but at least they have better support and the drag/drop future works.

I run a contracts company and rely heavily on tools like HelloSign and DocuSign. DocuSign actually works better for my company needs, but I prefer HelloSign's interface.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
You cannot download your data automatically from the platform. We have reached out to them so many times for support as we needed to cancel our contract. They have limited the API key and did not offer any solutions. We were stuck within the contract and couldn't cancel as we were afraid to lose our documents. I would NOT recommend to anyone this company.

Got quadruple charged for a year without reimbursement
I realized at some point that I somehow had 4 completely inactive accounts with them for about a year. They didn't want to reimburse that to me. It didn't matter to them that they hadn't provided me any value, as long as they can take my money, they're happy with it. I'm still open to a resolution, but they started ignoring my emails.
I would suggest looking into DocuSign instead. And also avoid Dropbox, which is the same company. Google Drive is much better any way.

Have never worked with a worse vendor
Have never worked with a worse software vendor. They seem to have lost 8,000 of our contracts.
Their API tells us how many we have, but that we have to add a filter to our query because there are more than 10,000 results. After we add a filter, the total magically drops by 8,000 regardless of how we filter.
Their support team was responsive initially but has been ghosting us for almost a month at this point, which has cost us another $2,400 because we need our contracts before we can cancel our service.
They also don't have any phone numbers, so they just continue to ignore our follow ups on support tickets at their convenience.
Save yourself the infuriation and go with DocuSign!

Run away
Catastrophic service, I have an annual contract of more than 10,000 euros and despite that the customer service is the worst I have seen in my life. They don't answer emails and when they do it's 5 days later with a copied and pasted answer that doesn't answer the question at all. In 5 months I still have a dozen emails without any answer. Their site is horrible to use, it is slow and often bugs.
Their permission system is the worst and most non-functional I have ever seen, it is impossible to collaborate with several people on this tool.
Honestly I am looking forward to the end of my contract to go to Docusign or whatever else.

HelloSign lacks support, integrity, and ethics
Whew, what a disaster. Sold on a deal that changed. Tried to contact the rep that sold our company the HelloSign services and then found out that you can only email the company. No calls, no support... What? We found out they lied on the way our billing would work and they milked our company for thousands of dollars a month.
Once we discovered it and asked them to make it right with a refund they send us a link to the terms.
In 2022, this is unacceptable. I would never recommend their services. I would rather be part of a class-action lawsuit for these kinds of business practices.
If you are here reading these reviews, wondering about saving a little money, you can cross HelloSign right off your list. Do yourself a favor and skip this headache.

Terrible - I have a paid subscription - I keep getting this error "add a field that is not a date" no customer chat to help you just have to email and hope someone comes back to you in days I presume. No proper online help even - so beware. I cancelled my sub - will try a proper company,

Fuyez, il n'y a rien de plus à dire.
Un site sensé être conçu pour envoyer des contrats à signer, sur lequel on ne peut jamais envoyer de contrat...
En effet, j'ai réussi à créer mes modèles de contrat, à les tester, les premiers jours j'étais assez satisfaite de l'offre.
Et puis, un jour, je dois envoyer un contrat à un de mes clients, et là, mystère, le site m'affiche une erreur, impossible d'envoyer quoique ce soit.
Très bien, les bugs ca arrive, je passe l'éponge.
Je me reconnecte le lendemain, toujours impossible.
Une fois sur quinze, vous arrivez tout de même à envoyer quelque chose, mais c'est tellement aléatoire que s'en est grotesque.
Lorsque le message d'erreur s'affiche, il vous donne un code à transmettre au service client qui pourrait soit-disant vous aider à régler le problème.
Très bien, autant tenter.
Nouvelle deception, j'envoie un mail, avec les informations données à transmettre, et après plus de 4 jours ouvrés, je reçois enfin une réponse.
Enfin, un retour plutôt, parce qu'on ne peut pas vraiment dire qu'il s'agisse d'une réponse. Un message 3/4 copier/coller, avec une traduction approximative, me demandant d'envoyer une capture d'écran alors que je leur ai déjà envoyé toutes les informations qu'ils me demandaient.
Enfin bref, après 15 jours d'utilisation, j'ai rompu le mois d'essai.

HelloSign support is a bad joke.
I had an issue back in August. After two months of exchanging only a couple of emails there is absolutely no progress in resolving the case.
They don't even care to look into my problem at all. Since my last response in October they don't even care to reply.
All the support did was asking me the same question: "Is it still not working?"
It takes a month for them to reply with a meaningless response and then I have 48 hours to react otherwise they'll close the unresolved case (note, they didn't get back to me since late October when I last responded, issue is still open, problem unresolved).
