Seoul Autonomous Driving Vision 2030

SEOUL Autonomous Driving VISION 2030

The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) announced the Seoul Autonomous Driving Vision 2030 to design the city's future of autonomous driving infrastructure that will change the lives of citizens and urban spaces by 2026.​

Based on this comprehensive plan, Seoul operated the first municipal testbed zone for autonomous driving as a smart city of intelligent mobility.​

Starting with the pilot service in 2022, the city is planning to build citywide autonomous driving infrastructure for all roads with two or more lanes by 2026 and make it available to the public through phased service rollout.​
