Verb

fördärva (present fördärvar, preterite fördärvade, supine fördärvat, imperative fördärva)

  1. to (often hyperbolically) destroy, to damage severely
    slå sig fördärvad i skidbacken
    have a bad fall on the slopes ("hurt/hit oneself destroyed in the ski slope")
    1. to corrupt, to ruin, to spoil, to deprave, etc.
      fördärva ungdomen
      corrupt the youth
