Welcome to the June 2015 edition of the Bugle!

This month's regular article news section features an unusually large, and diverse, number of new Featured and A-Class articles. The six articles promoted to Featured status in May cover topics ranging from a biography of an American president to that of an Australian state-level minister. While seven of the ten articles promoted to A-Class in May have a focus on the world wars, they also cover a wide range of topics - including a humble torpedo boat which saw combat in both conflicts and remained in service until 1959!

In his ongoing series of op-eds commemorating the centenary of World War I, TomStar81 looks at the impact of new technology on the conflict, while his timeline focuses as always on the major events that took place during the war 100 years ago this month.

The monthly article-writing contest continues to be well patronised; sixty articles were submitted by ten editors last month, the highest numbers since October last year - we always like to see new blood, so please consider joining in and submitting articles you've improved!

We'd also like to draw your attention to this interview with project member Peacemaker67 in The Signpost in which he discusses his experiences as a peacekeeper in the Balkans during the mid-1990s, and how this has influenced his Wikipedia editing. It's an excellent and moving article.

Don't forget that if you're interested in contributing to future editions of the Bugle, please contact either of the editors, or post it directly via the newsroom.

Your editors, Ian Rose (talk) and Nick-D (talk)
