Jujutsu techniques

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jujutsu techniques, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Jujutsu techniques. I understand the need to have subcategories of Category:Ecology, but I'm not sure what this one is supposed to contain and am doubtful it should even exist. Richard001 (talk) 07:35, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Art galleries category should not be child of museums

[edit]

Category:Art museums in California is a child of Category:Art museums and galleries in California. There's no need to put the empty galleries category underneath the museum... dm (talk) 19:32, 4 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rape and Revenge Films

[edit]

I added the category b/c the actual Rape and Revenge film and most of the major R & R films were only loosely categorized (ie as horror and/or exploitation) but not as R&R films. Please let me know what the original category is and I'll update. Thanks! Sugarcoma (talk) 02:05, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

NM that last comment. I see you are deleting the duplicated category. Have at! thanks! Sugarcoma (talk) 02:07, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pierce Biotechnology

[edit]

it's a major company, famous even in its field, and it does not meet G11, because it can be rewritten to make it less promotional by normal editing. Please restore, & I will do that editing. I know I can restore it by myself, but I always like to ask first. DGG ( talk ) 21:13, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

sorry, I mistakenly thought you were the person who deleted the article. I see now you just placed the tag, and I've asked the admin who did do the deletion. DGG ( talk ) 18:23, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:59, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Khanhoo

[edit]

Hi ThisIsAce, I am looking any for biographical information on William Henry Wilkinson, former British Council-General in China by the end of the 19th century. I see you are a librarian and I wonder if you could find any information on him or on the Chinese card game Khanhoo released in England with the help of the card manufacturer Chas Goodall of London, 1891. Maybe you could help ! Regards, Krenakarore (talk) 23:27, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Benedict Cumberbatch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Independent (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
