Mario Götze

[edit]

Please do not add assists to the statistics table of Mario Götze. There is no official definition what an assist is, so different sources report different numbers. For this reason it was consensus at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Football not do add assist to statistics tables. You can find the discussion here (the article in question was Lionel Messi but it should be applied for other articles as well). --Jaellee (talk) 13:16, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Aaron Ramsey without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to Gareth Bale, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 01:16, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Marco Reus. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Mattythewhite (talk) 12:53, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Marco Reus. Statistics remain unsourced. And we don't need a running commentary on every goal he scores. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:07, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mjmore-3. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Lowen Tynanes".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Lowen Tynanes}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 17:54, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mario Götze, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page United States national football team. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I noticed that you replaced the 2009–10 Borussia Dortmund season with the 2009–10 Bundesliga season in the Mario Götze article. I suggest that the article be created. Kingjeff (talk) 21:53, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stats in football players' infoboxes

[edit]

Hello, I'm Jaellee. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mario Götze were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.

You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update= or |pcupdate= parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update= or |ntupdate= parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use {{subst:mdytime}}. This will generate the specific time the update was made.

If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, --Jaellee (talk) 07:06, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please keep this in mind. Mattythewhite (talk) 00:05, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
