Disney attraction categories
[edit]You just added a lot of nonexistent categories to various Disney attraction articles. Please see WP:CAT and either create the categories or revert your category edits. Thanks, Alanraywiki (talk) 13:49, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've created the categories Category:Adventureland, Category:Fantasyland and Category:Tomorrowland for you. Next time, please create the categories before adding them to the articles. Thanks Themeparkgc Talk 23:10, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Did you discuss the category changes at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Disney before changing them all? You've removed some valid categories from articles. --blm07 17:46, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for your contribution on Snow White's Scary Adventures however adding non-specific information, such as "late 2011" is not appropriate. We need contributions to be verifiable, and something very general is not adequate. Once there is a specific date, please feel free to readd it to the article. Thanks, Tiggerjay (talk) 16:15, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. -- Doniago (talk) 13:38, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
The article Mystic Manor (Hong Kong Disneyland) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Unreferenced, possible attraction at unfinished section of park per WP:NOTCRYSTAL.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gurt Posh (talk) 13:04, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:Pixie Hollow HKDL.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Pixie Hollow HKDL.JPG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Grim Adventures of the KND, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://wikibin.org/articles/the-grim-adventures-of-the-kids-next-door.html.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of The Grim Adventures of the KND
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Grim Adventures of the KND, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:10, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Star Tours at Hong Kong Disneyland
[edit]Greetings ... I wanted to let you know that I have undone your recent edit at Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. I'm sure you were working to improve the article, but the source you used for the edit is not considered reliable enough for inclusion because it appears to be a self-published blog. I agree with the rumors swirling that the hints dropped regarding a Star Wars attraction at HKDL probably means Star Tours is on the way, but that would be our guesses, not necessarily the facts. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to leave them here or on my talk page. Thanks, and happy editing! --McDoobAU93 16:21, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Star Tours. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Again, you must provide an accurate source for this. No suggestion or innuendo. The source must specifically state that Star Tours is in development for Hong Kong Disneyland. -- McDoobAU93 16:57, 17 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm BU Rob13. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Template:Tarzan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. I wasn't able to find anything related to "Tarzan: Call of the Jungle" on search engines. As there is no article on Wikipedia related to this, it doesn't belong in navboxes, and I'm not even 100% sure it actually exists. If you can find reputable sources and create an article about this topic, feel free to add it back to the navbox. Remember that navboxes are primarily for navigating to other Wikipedia articles, not listing everything that falls under a category. ~ RobTalk 04:28, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Mahdisney. Your text addition to Fantasyland has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:11, 20 July 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Frozen at Hong Kong DL
[edit]Hi there! I wanted to let you know I removed your edits at Frozen Ever After. I reviewed the source you provided, and there are a couple of problems. First, that site is not considered reliable as it's a fan/rumor site. However, I did review it and it simply appeared that they cut and paste a Disney press release, which while not ideal, would be reasonable for this edit. However—and this is the second problem—upon reading everything, there is no mention that one of the two proposed Frozen attractions is a duplicate of the Epcot ride. The only attraction imagery shown is for a trackless flat ride that appears to mimic the new Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters at California Adventure. Keep in mind that Tokyo Disney Sea is also getting a Frozen-themed section, and it's entirely possible that both TDS and HKDL will get a totally new attraction instead of a duplicate of Epcot's ... and it's just as possible both will get Frozen Ever After. But since nothing has been confirmed, we can't really say until something is revealed. --McDoobAU93 14:08, 22 November 2016 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Mickey's Soundsational Parade
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Mickey's Soundsational Parade, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ansh666 07:27, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Recent edit reversion
[edit]In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.
I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.
I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 17:58, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
