Welcome!

[edit]

Hi, Cottonwalyer. Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page contains a lot of helpful material for new users—please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions or ask a question on your talk page.

Your edit at Expletive might have caused problems for article history and other technical issues. I'd like to invite you to discuss the process at Wikipedia:Teahouse#A question regarding an article that doesn't exist, and it’s creation is being blocked in error. See my comments at the bottom of that section.

Thanks, and happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 03:54, 6 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again. The discussion there has wrapped up. The upshot is that Expletive is essentially as you created it, and an administrator – User:MelanieN – has cleaned up the technical issues.
For future reference, when you move or rename a page it is better to use the 'Move' function rather than copying the content from one page into another one. That way, the article history remains intact, which can be useful for reference and is a necessary part of Wikipedia's licensing. (At least, that's my understanding.) There is more information at Wikipedia:Moving a page and Help:How to move a page. Best, Cnilep (talk) 01:51, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
