Speedy deletion of "Zman Tzeiruf for Shtia"

Hi Bentaura (ben tora?), welcome to wikipedia. I have notice that you have made some very nice contributions and I hope you decide to stay and continue to contribute. I see that two articles that you created were deleted (Zman Tzeiruf for Shtia and Hakira: regular aseh or lav-triggered aseh) which is unfortunate. If you would like copies of them, as an administer, I can provide them for you. The reason they were deleted is because they are incompressible to someone not already familiar with halacha ("To be chayav for eating maachalot assurot, one must eat a certain quantity of food (e.g. a kazayit) within a certain window of time." - imagine if every Hebrew word in the sentence was in a language you didn't understand!). Article on halacha are not only for yeshiva student but anyone who is interested in the topic and need to give context and background to the reader. In any event I am not sure of the prudence in creating article on obscure halahic topics where there are such large gaps in basic halachic topic. You may find many articles in the Category:Jewish law and rituals that you would enjoy expanding.

Hey there, my name is Dale. I came across two article you created, Birkhot Hanehanin and Safek Brakha Daoraita. I will be totally honest with you that, while your intent may be excellent, your execution is poor. Please don't take this the wrong way -- I'm just trying to steer you into the right direction. From the looks of it, two of your articles have been deleted and if I wasn't Jewish, frankly, I would delete your articles if I came across them myself! As a newcomer, the format in which you present the articles you start is extremely poor. You must keep in mind that this is an English encyclopedia and these articles must be written from a non-yeshiva bochur persepctive. I cannot overemphasize that! If you'd just check out some articles that I've written on similar subjects (click on my username below and check out the list of Torah-related articles), you'll see that I try my utmost to write Talmud based articles as though they are being presented to an extremely modern crowd. That means English terms are used whenever possible instead of Hewbrew or Aramaic, and when not possible (or not likely to lend themselves to the topic at hand), both translation as well as transliteration is provided the first time such terms are used. A good example is in the article on Amen, for which I have recently expanded the Jewish section. All Hebrew and Aramaic terms appear in italics to alert the reader that these words are in fact supposed to seem odd or misplaced until they become familiar with them because they are indeed foreign language terms. Citations from the Gemara are kept, for the most part, in the footnotes, because it's very difficult to read numbers and letters all jumbled together, especially when the words themselves are not really English.

Please understand that I'm not trying to tell you off or keep you off my turf or anything like that. I'm just trying to ease your early contribution to Wikipedia and perhaps speed up your acclimation period. Please check out the articles on shomea k'oneh, milk and meat and tinok shenishba to further observe my recommendations. Keep in mind: you mustn't follow any of them, but I just thought you might like to see how to write in a more layman-like style to make your additions to Wikipedia more palatable to the general public.
