I'm Peter and I'm here because I like to help people out, keep things in check and contribute whatever information I can find.   About me I live in Manchester and my interests are video production, computers, geography, geneaology. I have been contributing to the English language Wikipedia since before April 2006. I mainly contribute to articles related to television programmes and institutions and people. I also keep a close eye on articles related to local history. I'm slightly obsessive about the tidiness of articles and dislike inconsistency across articles. I'm particularly fond of tables as apposed to long confusing lists.
