On a search result page, click on "redirect". Then, click on "OK" to confirm the creation of the redirect. The redirect will then be created automatically.

You must have a firm grasp of the bot policy before you use this, as this function of the Redirect Creator has the most potential to cause widespread damage.

Navigate to this page. In the left column, enter all the redirects to create. In the right column, enter all the targets for these redirects. Set the delay between edits carefully; too short and you could end up hitting the rate limit.

Click Start and let the page sit there. Once all is done, all the redirects will be created.

This is not intended to be used as a bot; rather it is meant to assist editors with creating multiple plausible redirects to the same target. For example, if one is adding to a list and all the names are using given name first, then using this tool to create redirects if family name is first should be acceptable.

If needed, restrictions may be added to the automatic part of the tool.
