July 2010 Changes
[edit]- Removed the leaked songs section per WP:LEAK. Youtube is not a verifiable source - sourcing from youtube is a copyright violation. ASCAP is a songwriters agency and doesn't show when a song was recorded or if it was even recorded. Songs appearing on there from Westlife could be dated right back to the start of their career. Also leaked song titles are not notable.
- The release history section is a mess. Every link to a country name should be removed per WP:LINK which states do not provide links for trivial things or things which are obvious. Somebody looking for information on the United Kingdom would not come to this page first etc.
- The charts section is horrific. Per WP:ALBUMS certificates should have their own table which states the certificate provider, the certification level (the blue link i've added) and what certificate (e.g. gold/platinum etc.). In the charts section instead of saying the country it should say UK Albums Chart, Irish albums chart etc. Also charts should be in ALPHABETICAL Order.
- Information sourced from myspace is not allowed as it is WP:SELFPUBLISHED.
- I removed a completely unsourced section (single controversy) which is full of errors and is not WP:verifiable. Aside from being original research it is unsourced and unpublished synthesis.
- The tour is part of the promotion so should appear in that section.
- Release history should appear after charts.

Unsourced Sections
[edit]Until sourced the following information cannot be readded to the article.
Introduction
[edit]The album ended at #28 on the 2009 UK Year-end Album Chart with 427,000 sales, while "Shadows" was played as the second single on major radio stations in the Philippines.
Singles Controversy
[edit]Westlife members said on various interviews that their anticipated first single on this album has got to be an original one. When "What About Now" was announced by the BBC Radio One DJ as the title of their first single, tensions aroused if it's an original or what the majority has believed, a cover. At the end of the day, it turned out to be a cover by a Daughtry song.
About the second single, there were different rumours as to what will be the second single from the album with "Talk Me Down" and "Reach Out" both seen listed. The second single was scheduled to be released on 8 February 2010 but was moved from the dates of 5 April, 29 March, and April 19, 2010. Byrne personally expressed that he hopes that the next single will be released in March 2010 and the official B-Side is entitled "Please Stay", a cover of The Drifters classic, a song that Nicky's father wants the group to record. This will also serve as a tribute song to him. Byrne later confirmed on a radio interview that there will be no second single at the moment as they concentrate on their upcoming tour. On another interview on News of the World, Byrne said that there will be no more second single and a new album will be out before Christmas of 2010.
Also in this era, they participated for the Haiti charity single "Everybody Hurts".[1] Also, rumors have been spread that a song called "Call Me Now" of Mariah Carey featuring the group was got to be their second single too but nothing confirmed and released.
Promotion
[edit]First week of February, they embarked on a promotional tour of Germany and guested on the Oliver Pocher Show on the third week of February. They got the chance to perform with Boyzone for a track on the Stephen Gately Show in Ireland. They opened the ceremony on News of the World Children's Champion Awards. They are invited to perform on Sun City Super Bowl Show on South Africa to be held on March 19 and Fashion Kicks 2010 on April 13.
In Asia especially in the Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia, they promoted the album through different interviews and special short segment shows featuring the said album like on MYX Philippines and AXN Sony Style. They even used their song World of Our Own on Star World SEA in a house ad during this era.
