The photo accompanying this article is incorrectly captioned. Macoma and her sister Gadila (like the UK MACs) operated under civilian command with embarked naval parties. Neither was a commissioned ship and they should not therefore be designated 'HNLMS'. I propose to change the caption to MAC Ship (which was the British Admiralty designation for all MACs) unless there are objections. Mandrake079 (talk) 15:12, 16 October 2018 (UTC)
hello, i'm just a random user posting this information : i found about this ship by looking at https://www.helderline.com, and this ship had in fact a serie of 13 similar escort carrier from the same line
it had a detailed technical information sheet from befor it's conversion. And i'm sorry if it's not the wikipedia way to share info but i don't know how to do it , sorry
