Death

[edit]

Why is the information on Luan Peters’ death constantly being deleted? The actress Judy Matheson was told by her son Christian on Monday that she had died just before Christmas. Mr Mouat (talk) 08:33, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What proof do you need? Luan’s union Equity announced her death a while ago. The family clearly aren’t keen on publicity. What on earth more do you need? Mr Mouat (talk) 08:37, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Mr Mouat - as I mentioned on your talk page, we have a very strict policy concerning how we write about living (or recently deceased) people. The content of the article must be verifiable by readers, which means it must be cited to a source such as a news article. This is to protect the subject and the subject's family as well, as it prevents untrue information being added to the article. You mention Equity announced the death - do you have a link to that announcement? stwalkerster (talk) 08:47, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Luan Peters

[edit]

No, I don’t take the Equity newsletter but several members of Equity on both Twitter & Facebook have read it, including the writer & filmmaker David McGillivray. Mr Mouat (talk) 07:29, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I now have a pdf sent today on e mail from British Actors Equity Association with the relevant ‘In Memoriam’ section with Luan’s name included. I am not sure however how to forward the pdf to Wikipedia. Please advise. Mr Mouat (talk) 16:19, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
