I have added an image, which I found on the internet at the National Physical Laboratory's website. Permission was requested to use, which was granted provided photographs are credited as being NPL's. http://materials.npl.co.uk/waterrockets/pictures2002/p6.jpg. Inconsistent dates.

The article states that Prof Wolff was ten when he arrived in Britain on the day WW2 broke out. Given that he was born on 29 April 1928, he must have been 11 on 3 September 1939 when Britain declared war.
