Language

[edit]

Hello to everyone who is reading this, I am Zaki Frahmand come from Afghanistan and living Melbourne since February 2018. My ancestry is Hazara but I don't say my language Hazaragi which is a dialect. In so far as I have seen and heard here, this is called Hazaragi only by Hazaras who have lived in Pakistan usually for at least ten years. I think I know why you don't say your language as Dari or Persian (Farsi) which is the same language. Please let me tell you what a language is before you having your criticism on my word. Language is the principal method of human communication, consisting of words used in a structured and conventional way and conveyed by speech, writing, or gesture [1] and in addition to this definition I want to tell you that when two people understand what the other speak, it means they speak the same language which satisfies between people of Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan (Cyrillic script) and some more countries. This language has about 200 million speakers around the world.[2]. I am just saying but everything is your hand what you do but please be wise and study before you do something in importance of such a census. Let's tell the Australian government that Dari and Persian are the same language while the difference is just the difference between English in Australia and united states. Please let's not be bigot in everything. I know what you feel about that painful genocide of 1890s in Afghanistan by Abdul Rahman khan but don't pretend it anymore by bigotry. Since Hazaras by citizenship are Afghans, this article would be a WP:FORK Persian Lad (talk) 23:16, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong Oppose A fraction of Hazaras are Pakistanis, not from Afghanistan. People have families in both countries. lots of Hazaras in Australia visit their family in Balochistan never even stepping foot in Afghanistan; some families for centuries haven't been to Afghanistan and long settled in British India
